Oliver
Nice, funny, epic
Son of Andrea, Kelly
Lover of food, games, Anime
Who feels happy, sad, angry

Who gives company, time, space
Who fears death, death of parents, falling from high places
Who wonders when everything will go back to normal

Mad Monday-By Kaia

Today I decided to make breakfast for my owner. I didn't know what to make because I can't really cook but it was worth a try. I decided I was going to make something yum green and remarkable. So first i added some sugar, butter then some vanilla essence i wanted to make it really big so i doubled the ingredients. After that I put it in the oven. I came back 20 minutes later and it was ready. I decided it was called yumerific.

(a bio poem is a poem about your self but you have to have three things like feelings and what we don't like and what we like and family members.)

My Blogging Badge - By Toni

This design is an original plane badge I came up with, I made a copy and made many other coloured ones to see what they looked like with colour.
I decided that the original one was the one that looked best, and I also asked my friends but they thought that some of the colours were better, but most of them thought the plane was best.

I first started making it by searching up images on the public domain, I was looking for something that would fit in with what's going on in the world right now, so I picked the fist. I added word art saying Kia Kaha on it, and also decided on a ribbon, I put Cybersmart 2020 on it and that was it.

N6 is Whakawhetai for Being Kind

Kia ora tatou,
In Week 9 we started our Whakawhetai Journals which had a number of grateful tasks that we could complete about ourselves, our whanau, at school, at home and with the tumeke/awesome people who we share our daily lives with. Here are some of the pictures that we have been able to share with you all with permission from us all here in N6!

On Friday Funday we were able to share our positive comments with all thsoe who had been onto our class blog and had entered a "Hello" "Really enjoyed reading your post, it would be good if you did ...".  Our other surprise for the day was that we received a courier parcel from our exchange school for the "GET NZ WRITING 2020!" We appreciated the note to say that because of lockdown our postcards had been misplaced but we are ever so grateful and appreciative for the Coloured Pencils, Kete of smiley magnets, tui stickers, 2019 Year Book and the whakatuaki which was all sent from Northcote Intermediate. We say @Whakawhetai Northcote Intermediate and sincerely hope you enjoy reading all about us and our small town Otaki in our postcards which we filled in before Covid19 from us all here at N6 Otaki College.

N6 Online Learning during Lockdown

Since we have been online learning over the past month it has been a real learning curve for each of us: The rule is that we Stay Home, Wash our Hands, Be Kind and Save Lives. We should be proud to say that we have helped our nation to follow the rules and save lives. While having to stay at home and hangout online so far, we have accomplished many things. Learnt about Hine Rangi the first New Zealand Woman to fly a plane, prepared to remember ANZAC in a different way this year. We made Anzac biscuits, continued to exercise and stay physically active through Jump Jam and sock throws as well as be creative in all our different writing tasks.
If we weren't able to get online then some of us stayed focussed with receiving hard copies to work on or used EP when we could. For all that we have achieved it is through being kind to one another and continuing to communicate with those around us. We will continue to learn in our bubbles, in our hangouts, with those around us and those we communicate with. Students of N6  Kia kaha, Kia māia, Kia manawanui | Be strong, be brave, be steadfast. :)

Nau Mai Haere Mai ki N6

Greetings from N6, the classroom of Whaea Frost and our 25 tauira.

We have been busy with creating kites to fly, recrafting introduction letters, swimming sports, and today we completed Athletics Day at the Otaki Domain.
